The aim is to phase out all tracked vehicles in favour of wheeled equivalents. Consequently, both types of vehicles are in service at present: * Mowag Piranha III - replacing the Leopard 1A5 main battle tank * Pandur APC - replacing the the AIFV-B and M113 tracked infantry fighting vehicles * Dingo 2 - armored reconnaissance vehicle * Iveco LMV - replacing the Volkswagen Iltis * Unimog - light 4x4 truck * Volvo 10T - medium 6x6 truck * Iveco 8T - medium 6x6 truck In addition a number of miscellaneous utility vehicles are used.
